Two years ago, my daughter and I went to Yellowstone National Park.
We elected to stay at the West Entrance/Yellowstone KOA in West Yellowstone, Montana. It was a nice campground.
However, while there we got bitten by mosquitoes. My daughter got bit worse than I did, despite having on insect repellent. I'm not sure where we got bit, either at the KOA or Yellowstone (most likely at the KOA), but we did get bit. From what I've read, mosquitoes seem to flourish in the West Yellowstone area and other people have reported being bitten at other area campgrounds. I guess it comes with the territory.
