Painting Project

The first phase of the exterior painting project is done.

Above, the painters have already started removing the paint from the east wall of the house. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

That part was to shore up (with some minor repairs) to the deck on the east side of the house. It apparently was left neglected for about 15 years and badly needed a paint job. The painters completed that over the weekend while I was at the Lost Dutchman clamp-out.

Today, they're starting on two exterior walls on the house and two walls on the garage that the sun beats on. The other walls of the house are okay.

The painter called me minutes ago and they are on their way over.
